RU-N Celebrates Black Student Organizations

For Black History Month, Rutgers-Newark's social media accounts have been featuring RU-N's Black student organizations with photos and info on the groups and their missions. Pictured here is the Black Organization of Students, who describe themselves this way: 

"Being able to exemplify Black Excellence means to use our history, regardless of how painful, to continue to defy society's expectations of us. Black excellence is the celebration of success in the Black community and the persistent display of perseverance through education, leadership and advocacy.''
