"The problems that scientists are trying to solve affect people from all backgrounds from all over the world, so why shouldn’t everyone be participating?” ponders Dr. Ashaki Rouff, associate professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. In her research and teaching, Dr. Rouff exemplifies the inclusive change she wants to see. Rouff, who was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to pursue research in South America, is innovating in the lab and inspiring the next generation of STEM researchers.
