Explore your hometown university! Rutgers Day Festival Newark, held simultaneously with Rutgers-New Brunswick and Rutgers-Camden, is the largest outreach and open house hosted by the university for all ages. Learn how you can become a community partner with Rutgers-Newark, explore your college path, and access the campus and resources in your backyard.Here are some of the exciting things happening all day:

Norman Samuels Plaza - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Enter via Paul Robeson Campus Center on Martin Luther King Blvd.

Newark Culture Con

Newark's Culture Con is a unique comic con celebration focusing on diversity and inclusion

The full day of free events and activities features: 

  • Vendors, Table top games, Green Scrren cosplay,
  • Workshops on 3D Design and Printmaking and Game Development
  • Musical performances and panel discussions and lots more.
