Rutgers in Newark, NJIT team up for Oct. 22 career fair for students, alumni seeking jobs and internships
WHAT: The 16th annual Rutgers-Newark/New Jersey Institute of Technology Fall Collaborative Career Fair, combined with the 2nd annual Rutgers Business School Career Fair, aimed at bringing together employers and candidates seeking full-time employment, internships and cooperative education opportunities
WHO: The Career Development Center at Rutgers University-Newark and the Career Development Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, also in Newark, as well as 200 employers, and hundreds of students and alumni from the institutions. A partial list of recruiters includes: PricewaterhouseCoopers; Enterprise Rent-A-Car; the FBI; Kraft; Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of NJ; Target Corporation; The ARC of Union County; Verizon; Prudential Financial; Quest Diagnostics; Bank of America; Chubb Group of Insurance Companies; Bed, Bath & Beyond; Liz Claiborne; U.S. DEA; and KPMG.

BACKGROUND: This joint career fair, orchestrated by career services personnel at the two institutions, will bring together employers, students and alumni from a broad range of fields, including social and behavioral sciences, the arts, business, law enforcement, financial services, architecture, natural and life sciences, government, and information technology.
