Womxn's History Month 2026

Throughout March, Rutgers–Newark student organizations and campus partners are hosting a series of events focused on connection, learning, advocacy, and celebration. Students are invited to participate, engage, and explore the many ways women have shaped history—and continue to shape our future.

Tuesday, March 10

Clips + Crafts

Hosted by Active Minds
Participate in a tabling initiative where women can display their femininity through creative expression.

Origami Hearts
11:30 AM – 12:50 PM | PRCC Monmouth
Hosted by Sino Undergraduate Student Association
Create origami flowers to symbolize the adversity and resilience of women in their fight for equality.

GBM: Film Screening & Discussion

Experience Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, a film about one of India’s pioneering female combat pilots. Enjoy food and refreshments and participate in a group discussion.

Join an idea pitch-off to a panel of “sharks,” with prizes of $200 for first place, $100 for second place, and merchandise for third.
