Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon: The History of Nursing in Newark
Join archivists from Dana and Smith Libraries for a Wikipedia edit-a-thon highlighting the history of nursing in Newark. Help increase the online representation of important Newark scientists and health professionals on the largest open encyclopedia on the internet. You'll learn how to edit existing Wikipedia articles and contribute to a new article about Mary Bowland, a nurse who helped establish the Children's Hospital AIDS Program (CHAP), a groundbreaking model for pediatric AIDS care in Newark.
