Celebrate Women's History Month

Every year, the accomplishments and contributions of women to American society are celebrated during the month of March, which is designated by the United States Congress as Women’s History Month.

All month, Rutgers University—Newark is highlighting the critical role of women in all aspects of society, remembering women’s rich legacy in history and honoring the countless accomplishments of women in Newark, in New Jersey, in the U.S. and around the world.

The month culminates with a special event on March 26: No More Hidden Figures: Honoring the SHEROES Among Us and the Women’s Film Festival, a two-week series of events including screenings, award ceremonies and a jazz concert. Here are some of the events happening on and off campus:
