Data Publication 1: Creating Reproducible Research and Literate Programming Documents
This workshop covers how to create reproducible research and literate programming documents using knitr, Sweave, Quarto, blogdown, and bookdown.
The RStudio environment enables the easy creation of documents in various formats (HTML, DOC, PDF) using Rmarkdown, while knitr allows the incorporation of executable R code to produce the tables and figures in those documents. Sweave provides more advanced LaTeX typesetting, and Quarto provides even more flexibility and functionality. The blogdown and bookdown packages allow the easy creation of formatted documents in both web-compatible and print formats. This session introduces these concepts and other packages and practices supporting reproducibility with the R environment.
Workshop conducted via Zoom. Register at https://libcal.rutgers.edu/event/15607251 to receive the Zoom link with instructions on how to connect.
