  • The Institute’s research mission is to enhance research in the affiliated departments, institutes, centers, and programs to foster interdisciplinary, data-intensive research collaborations, and be a Rutgers-wide resource for collaborative projects and consortia related to Data Science, Learning, and Applications.

    This will be achieved through federally funded programs by focusing on bringing together multiple faculty with connected research interests. The Institute will leverage current strengths by creating a multiplier effect in many of the areas across Rutgers that already are primed in the direction of Data Science.

  • This state-of-the-art MRI facility, opened in May 2011, enables researchers with Rutgers, other institutions in the region and the business world to conduct a wide variety of studies. RUBIC offers an array of advanced features, such as systems for eye-tracking and physiological data collection, aural and visual stimulus presentation devices, and high-capacity data storage and analysis.

  • Supply Chain Disruption research laboratory (SCDrl) at Rutgers Business School investigates how managers decide on a course of action in response to a supply chain disruption. The SCDrl may uses archival, simulated, survey and case study data to investigate variation in decisions and outcomes among different firms and for different types of disruptions. The SCDrl will produce white papers, industry-focused reports, magazine articles targeted at trade journals and academic publications targeted at supply chain management journals.

  • Paradigm shift in global society has positioned technology as the main driver for economic growth in industry and government. Yet successful management of today’s fluid, fast-paced innovations poses extraordinary challenges.

    The Technology Management Research Center (TMRC) at Rutgers Business School –Newark and New Brunswick (RBS) is dedicated to embracing these issues and promoting effective management of technology.

  • The Transparency and Governance Center (TGC) in the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) focuses on programming, research, and projects related to public sector transparency and governance at both the local and global levels. TGC understands that governments have an obligation to inclusively give citizens the opportunity to play a part in decision-making.

  • The Whitcomb Center for Research in Financial Services, originally named the New Jersey Center for Research in Financial Services, was established in 1986. The center has been active in funding research, acquiring up-to-date financial databases and underwriting faculty and doctoral student participation in prominent academic conferences.
