The Reading Room
Rutgers-Newark faculty, staff and alumni are a talented group of writers -- scholars and creative writers who write biographies, history, novels, poetry and so much more.
Remember the tale of a little boy having a terrible, horrible day? That classic child’s book was penned by Judith Viorst, Class of 1952, one of many Rutgers-Newark alumni, faculty and staff who are renowned authors and poets.
Biographies that reveal hidden life stories; financial planning advice; precedent-setting lawsuits. Works of non-fiction by Rutgers authors reflect the reality of life, while also, on occasion, transforming that reality.
