A Taste of Databases in the Natural Sciences
There are dozens of databases focused on the natural sciences. Many are specialized and targeted toward specific areas of study. Others offer broader coverage. This workshop provides an orientation for the wide variety of natural sciences-related databases available at Rutgers; learning how to choose the most important ones for particular areas; and some tips on the mechanics of database use. Databases to be covered include Web of Science, Science Direct, and Scopus. Instructor: Jenica Ibarra (Reference and Instruction Librarian)
