Have You Met Rutgers-Newark?

MFA in Creative Writing Program
Throughout its history, Rutgers-Newark has adapted existing structures –including breweries and factories-- into classrooms and offices. The trend continues today; this brownstone at 43 Bleeker St. was built in 1849 as a residence; it is now home to the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program. A few minutes’ walk from the blossoming Halsey Street arts district, it’s an appropriate home for the MFA program which is designed to draw upon the urban energy of the campus.
