Based on classified documents and first-person interviews, Nick Turse’s book is a startling history of the American war on Vietnamese civilians. Turse received a 2014 American Book Award for Kill Anything That Moves (Picador, December 2013).

The award-winning journalist and historian drew on more than a decade of research into secret Pentagon archives and extensive interviews with American veterans and Vietnamese survivors.  He was awarded the Ridenhour Prize for Reportorial Distinction for Kill Anything That Moves.
