Rutgers School of Law–Newark ranks number nine on the “10 law degrees with the biggest return on investment” shortlist put out by US News and World Report. The determination is based on the amount of debt relative to first-year salaries in the private sector.
“Rutgers School of Law–Newark is committed to providing its students with the highest quality legal education at an affordable cost,” said Acting Dean Ronald K. Chen. “For the past three years, for example, as we have made enhancements to programs that will better prepare our students for the practice of law, we have done so without raising tuition.
