This is the last in the series with Music Professor Emeritus Lewis Porter (pianist) and guests. Boston-based saxophonist Phil Scarff (http://www.philscarff.com/) performs Indian classical music and jazz, and leads the acclaimedworld-jazz ensemble, Natraj, which has performed domestically andabroad. With John Funkhouser on bass, and Bertram Lehmann on drums, the group will perform standard jazz material by Monk, etc., as well as original pieces inspired by North Indian ragas.
