A Mother’s Cry is a docu-series focusing on the process of grieving after a mother loses her child to gun and street violence. The film highlights the need for grieving mothers to hold each other, counsel each other, and be present for one another. These mothers are bonded by loss, grief, and the desire to build safer and stronger communities. As the filmmaker points out, “We hope to help others through this documentary, we hope that we are able to build bridges and I hope people start getting involved in building stronger communities.”
