Sept. 22-27: Save The Dates To Celebrate The Uniqueness That Is Rutgers In Newark

Homecoming 2014 at Rutgers University-Newark will serve up fun and activities from Sept. 22 through Sept. 27. The annual celebration brings together alumni, current students, faculty and staff to celebrate all things Rutgers in Newark.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 23, readings by the MFA In Creative Writing Program, volleyball game and “Meet the Greeks”
  • Wednesday, Sept. 24, Scarlet Spirit Day and a talk by transgender actress Laverne Cox
  • Thursday, Sept. 25, author talk with Barbara Kukla and live jazz performance
  • Friday, Sept. 26, alumni baseball game
  • Saturday, Sept. 27, Fall Fest carnival, alumni basketball games and alumni vs. student softball game
  • Saturday, Sept. 27, Alumni Social
