Why has war never become a taboo? This topic and others related to the experience of war will be explored at “The Abolition of War” symposium held on Saturday, February 20, 2015 in the Baker Trial Courtroom at Rutgers School of Law–Newark.
 
The program comes on the second day of a two-day symposium organized by Rutgers–Newark Law, the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Program at Cardozo Law School, the Jacob Burns Foundation, and the Law and Humanities Institute. The first day will be held at Cardozo Law School.
 
Admission is free and lunch is included on both days.
