Alumni, Students Of Rutgers University, Newark, Will Celebrate ‘Peace, Love And Scarlet’ During 8th Annual Homecoming Festivities Sept. 24 - 29
MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA ARE WELCOME TO REPORT ON THESE ACTIVITIES.
The Rutgers-Newark community, its alumni and family members will gather on campus for Homecoming 2012, a series of festivities that celebrate community spirit and school pride. Homecoming events offer a variety of memory-making opportunities and celebrations for the entire community. Most events are open to the public, and most are free.
Highlights include “Scarlet Spirit Day,” a jazz jam session, several readings and talks by alumni authors, a street fair, walking tours, athletic events, socials, and alumni challenging R-N students in both baseball and softball games.
