R-N Shortcut | RN Shortcut Help

What is RN Shortcut?
The RN shortcut feature allows you easy and quick access to Rutgers-Newark web sites. You enter the shortcut phrase, and you will instantly be taken to the site. For example, entering the shortcut "ENGLISH" will automatically take you to the English department's web site.

Note to Administrators: This feature makes communicating your web site address especially easy. If you have a url, you can simply say "Go to www.newark.rutgers.edu, rn shortcut English".

How do I know what the shortcut is for a web site?
You can find out the shortcut phrase for a web site by viewing our list of web sites. Click the link "R-N Web Sites" in the upper right hand corner of the page. Our plan is for departments and offices to advertise their RN shortcut on their web site, printed materials and other promotional materials.

What if I don't know the shortcut for a web site?
Don't worry if you are not sure of the RN shortcut for the site you wish to access. If the RN shortcut you enter is not a match, links to other sites which may be of interest to you will be displayed.

How can I get a RN shortcut for my department, office or organization?
To obtain a shortcut, please click here to request your entry.
Note: You must be an official Rutgers related web site to qualify for an RN shortcut. The Office of Campus Communications reviews all requests and reserves the right of approval.
