Writers At Newark: Will Schutt, Christine Schutt

Will Schutt is the author of Westerly, winner of the 2012 Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize. Schutt is the recipient of the fellowships from the James Merrill House, the Sewanee Writer's Conference and the Stadler Center for Poetry at Bucknell University. His poems and translations have appeared in Agni, FIELD, The New Republic, The Southern Review and elsewhere.
Christine Schutt Is the author of two short story collections and three novels, including Prosperous Friends, her most recent book. Her novel, Florida was a National Book Award finalist, and, her novel All Souls was a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize. Schutt has twice won the O. Henry Short Story Prize and is the recipient of New York Foundation of the Arts and Guggenheim fellowships.
