Recent legislation in New Jersey has granted advanced practice nurses the right to now initially prescribe controlled dangerous substances (CDS). In order to qualify for this extended license the APN is required to complete 6 contact hours of instruction including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of CDS and information on substance abuse by patient and prescribers. This comprehensive course will provide the necessary content for the APN to be licensed to prescribe and manage CDS in New Jersey.

Class will be held on Saturday February 2 2013 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
