The film documentary, "Trapped: Stories from Puppets of Patriarchy," presents the conditions of South Asian women in Indian society and cultural factors that need to be recognized when working with women from this region. Following the film, a lecture and discussion on incorporating human rights and international law protections into social services will follow, with special reference to the worldwide problem of sex trafficking.

Members of Rutgers-India Strategic Planning Committee, Rutgers School of Social Work, other Rutgers affiliates, and community services agencies are specially invited to participate in the videoconference location in Conklin Hall.
