White House correspondent April Ryan, a veteran of Washington politics for over twenty years, has been named the Fall 2012 Visiting Scholar for the Diversity Research Center at Rutgers-Newark.
As Visiting Scholar, April Ryan will make a public presentation on the upcoming presidential election, the intersection of race and politics, and her role as a White House Correspondent. As an African American woman, working in White House press circles, she has an invaluable perspective on Washington and national politics.
