Open Public Hearing of the NJ Assembly Budget Committee
Room 070, atrium level
The New Jersey Assembly Budget Committee will hold an open public hearing April 9 at the Center for Law and Justice. The Assembly Budget Committee consists of 12 legislators who will consider and vote on the state budget, including funding that affects our university and our campus. The Committee invites all of you who want to testify to do so. You do not need to RSVP in advance, nor prepare any written remarks in advance or to read at the hearing. You may show up, sign in and speak for one to two minutes, first come, first served.
The hearing will last from 9:30 am on Tuesday to mid-afternoon, but morning is best. You do not need to be a quantitative expert. You can speak about Rutgers-Newark or other state funding matters of personal interest.
