Division of Global Affairs Faculty Seminar: Library and Research Skills

The Division of Global Affairs (DGA) Faculty Seminar series is held by DGA faculty and is geared toward finding the global affairs niche within academia and developing the discipline, as well as ways to approach the institutionalization of the discipline of Global Affairs.

Lunch - Conklin Hall Room 240, followed by talk in Conklin Hall Room 346 at noon.

Dr. Carruthers teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate classes which draw closely on her research. These include the undergraduate survey of US Foreign Relations, the History senior seminar, and master’s courses on the US & Empire, Cold War Culture, Media and American War Experience, and the Evolution of the Global System.

She has served as the Graduate Director in the History Department, Acting Director of American Studies (Spring 2012) and is currently Deputy Director of the Division of Global Affairs.
