CultureClash: Culturally Competent Engagement in a Hegemonic World
The Committee to Advance Our Common Purposes(CACP) was convened with the intention of strengthening relationships between the three Rutgers campuses and promoting a shared vision of social justice across our institution. The bi-annual CACP conference travels to a different campus each year, centering on a changing social justice theme that is designed to enhance the way our faculty, staff and students contribute to a socially responsible campus and just world. The 2013 CACP Conference will explore Cultural Competency as an increasingly valuable tool for encouraging communities that thrive on their diverse rather than their shared perspectives, practices and values.
REGISTRATION IS FREE. A continental style breakfast and a full lunch will be provided to all in attendance.
Please visit our Conference website at http://cacp.rutgers.edu/2013-diversity-conference to access the Registration and Program Proposal forms.
