The Hon. Robert Menendez, who represents New Jersey’s 13th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, will address graduates at the School of Law commencement. Menendez has had a stellar rise through the ranks to become chairman of the Democratic Caucus during his decade in office, making him the third-ranking Democrat in the U.S. House and highest-ranking Hispanic ever in Congressional history. His nationally recognized leadership also earned him appointments as chairman of both the Democratic Task Force on Education and the Democratic Task Force on Homeland Security. Menendez has also served as a member of the bi-partisan Select Committee on Homeland Security. Menendez earned his JD at Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
