Are you a Rutgers-Newark student, faculty or staff member who is the parent of a pre-school-aged child? Providing family resources for members of the campus community is an important goal of the Office of the Provost. R-N does not currently have a childcare program, but a Campus Child Care Committee is exploring this possibility.
In the meantime, child care is currently available at several centers close to the campus. Please note that Rutgers Newark is not a sponsor nor an endorser of any of these programs; this list is for informational purposes only.
As a service for parents, the Office of Commuter Services offers information on child care referrals, care providers, transportation information, and general assistance. The office is on the main floor of the Paul Robeson Campus Center.
