2008 Cap and Gown information

Students
The following information is for all Bachelor & Master students that will be participating in any of the 2008 graduation ceremonies. This year we have New custom gowns for all degree levels. We will not be using the plain black gowns.
Bachelors and Masters Students Only
To pre-order your gown go to www.Herffjones.com/college/graduation. This is to ensure we will have the proper size gown and hood for everyone. You will not be charged when placing your pre-order online. You are required to pay when you pickup your order. The website will be up on 2/4/08 until 3/15/08. Any student that does not place their order by 3/15/08 must fill out a order form at the Rutgers Bookstore in Bradley Hall. There will be a late fee of $12.50 for any orders done after 4/1/08.
All PhD students that will be participating in May'08 graduation ceremony must place an order for their custom rental by 2/26/08 at the Rutgers bookstore only. Students that wish to purchase custom regalia may do so by visiting the Rutgers bookstore or online. Custom regalia purchase must be done by 2/28/08 in order to receive your gown on time for graduation. The website to purchase custom regalia is www.herffjones.com/college/regalia.
It will take approximately 8 to 10 weeks for both custom gowns to be made.

Faculty/Staff
The following is important information regarding this years cap & gown ordering process for faculty & staff. We will begin accepting orders on 1/04/08 up until 4/1/08. Any orders placed after 4/1/08 will be charged a late fee of $12.50.
This year we require that all faculty and staff stop in to the Rutgers Bookstore in Bradley Hall and fill out an order form. Your order will be placed once payment is received. If your dept. is paying for your rental you must have a PO #. The following information is required.

All information requested must be filled in. Do not put down a size as your weight. Your actual weight is required to ensure a proper fit. Your order will not be processed until we receive the correct information.
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours of placing your order please contact the bookstore. We will NOT have a bulk order this year, everyone must place an order.
