Have You Met Rutgers-Newark?
Alumni Field is the campus venue for NCAA softball and soccer games, and the practice field for the Scarlet Raiders baseball team. It is a lighted outdoor facility that features a FieldTurf artificial surface, giving Rutgers-Newark a much-needed year-round surface for athletics and intramurals for the rapidly-growing campus. New scoreboards for soccer and softball were installed in 2008. Located immediately across the street from the Golden Dome, Alumni Field gives Scarlet Raider teams an excellent venue just steps from classrooms and dormitories.
